happy Halloween heat embossing and brayer tutorial by sherrill graff

start by stamping the Happy Halloween stamp on your versamark pad
then into your pumpkin pie pad

stamp the image onto white cardstock and heat emboss
using clear powder

Next stamp the spatter image from the grunge set over the
halloween stamp using wisteria wonder ink.

Stamp the swirl image from the everything elanor set
using versa mark and white embossing powder

brayer item # 102395

punch out a circle
from a post it note
so the sticky can keep it in place
Stamp the image below in pumpkin pie

then using your Stampin Up Brayer
and a Daffodil Delight ink pad
cover the entire area

then brayer  wisteria wonder  around the edges
We don't have to be as good at this as
michelle zindorf
to still have a LOT of fun!

Michelle was here in Las Vegas with Kay, Barbara and I
I'll see if I can find a photo and post it here later.

Here is my finished card

what do you think?

was this tutorial helpful?

also a brayer is my clue on the treasure hunt we are having
here is a link to that post

The treasure hunt has great prizes too

May God bless you and your family,

after I posted this I decided to come back today and add these words
Pintrest is such a fun place to find ideas and to share ideas but we NEED TO remember how important it is to walk away from the computer to create that card, or paint that bookshelf, or prepare that meal.

Don't just dream about it, do it!

May God bless all of us that pintrest, facebook and other social media are used as a tool to help us do more, be more, and experience more life.

so today, I'll be cleaning house, preparing a meal for my family,
making some cards just for the fun of it.

May you be blessed as you experience LIFE too.

My art is on her blog button

If your art has been featured or spotlighted on my blog
you may post this image on your blog

You may post this image on your blog
to brag about it

here is the link so your viewers can
see how wonderful your art is!

card making - scrapbooking - paper craft supplies

Product I love that make a big difference in my life

the big shot was the BEST tool I ever purchased
I love how it cuts things out for me
it also dry embosses
which makes my projects look wonderful!

You can get a big shot half price when you have a good sized workshop
yes catalog workshops count too

This is a little set of banner cutters for the bis shot. It allows me to make all sorts of cute things to sell at my  craft fairs. The banner above was sold for $3.50  and the profit from each banner was donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Las Vegas to buy household paper products like paper plates and plastic ware for the families to use while they stay there.

Can't say enough about this butterfly embosslet it embosses
and cuts the butterflies out at the same time!

This leaf die is one of my favorites right now

Every banner kit I made for my last scrapbok crop
sold out in minutes
the Large one above I charged $9.50

the small one below I charged $3.50
and the profit went to the Ronald McDonald House.

Right now I am in love with butterfly punches!

look how good the punch looks when it cuts
our our designer series paper
I used paper from the clearance rack

paper on the clearance rack is as low as $2.19 for 12  12X12 sheets!!!
most of our paper is double sided as well
and it's NOT thin like dollar store paper

the owl punch is just fun!
these are owls with their feet cut off turned upside down
to make ghosts

the owl punch also makes flowers and all sorts of fun stuff

moose
minions

and a chick

these snowflake thinlits by sizzex cut out beautiful snowflakes!

I love my ink holder

did you know it turns so I can easily get at any color of ink
I wish to work with!

By the way,
all our ink colors, cardstocks
and ribbons match!!!

The last thing I want to talk about are
adhesives "MUST HAVES"
these hold things like little bows, and buttons
to the card or page
really well!

sticky strip is a must for 3-D projects
once you use this they will NOT come apart!

snail is what I use for my scrapbooking
it has a refill that gives you a better price
so save the dark half when you run out and
just order the refill

pop dots or dimentionals make
flowers and butterflies
pop off the page.

They are thin enough you can still use them in scrapbooks

this is the best glue for holding together
paper flowers!

this paper flower is stuck to the top of a pen.
we learned how to make these from a fellow stampin up demonstrator
at convention this past July

be sure to look for the kits we have in the catalog
they take about an hour to put together
but all the thinking is done for you.

we have Snowflake Kits
and this fun Halloween Kit too
