Making Card for Kids - Helping put a smile on a childs face

Kind people of all ages get together to create cards for the kids. This event was held at UNLV in Las Vegas. We had over 30 people helping and  most of them were 7 - 23 years old.
We created over 50 cards to donate in just 2 hours.

Thanks for your help!

Each of us in the Las Vegas area who have a desire to Make A Difference in the lives of others have the opportunity to Run monthly card making events. You can be a Stampin Up demonstrator (Demonstrators- please sign up as a volunteer on the Stampin Up website) , a SU customer or just someone who loves paper crafts and wants to help put a smile on a child's face.

Here is how it works
You sign up for a month to be a host. That month you will earn a moving forward stamp set from me for "working" the event.
I can help you find a McDonalds near your area of town to host the event. We can go in together and talk to the manager to set up your card making day. We try and hold them before the lunch rush or after dinner hours so we don't interfere with their regular customers.
I can help you get the flyers and the "Ronald Boot" from our Las Vegas Ronald McDonald House and I'll help you run your cards for the kids event.  The house may even give you a free RMHouse T-Shirt to wear.

Each participant needs to bring a glue stick
Each participant will make 2 or more cards and they get to take one home to keep and donate the rest.

Thanks for sharing and caring,
